DOG HOME BOARDING

Not happy leaving your dog in a kennel? Amarok Canine offers a fantastic alternative to kennelling your dog with Dog Home Boarding & Dog Day Care. A friendly, licenced ‘home from home’ for your family’s best friend. We could welcome your dog/s exclusively into our Amarok pack, where they gain our family’s full attention for the duration of their stay. We are a family run business in Pontardawe, and you would meet us all (the only minders, no additional families) on the trial session. We could offer exclusive or multiple boarding inviting one or two households (at your discretion) to stay with our 3 dogs, keeping the numbers low to ensure all dogs have the attention they require.  Dog Boarding is offered by appointment only; you could drop off/or we could pick up your dog(s) and follow your designated routine for feeding and walks with plenty of socialisation in a secure home environment.

Requirements

> A Familiarisation Session: a chance for you and your dog to visit their ‘holiday’ home near Pontardawe & meet the Amarok pack to see how they get along.

By appointment only, £5 fee which will be discounted if a booking is made.

> For you to provide your own CLEAN bed, food, treats & toy to settle your dog.
> A copy of up-to-date vacinations – Annual booster & kennel cough (at least 4wks prior to arrival)
> Confirmation of worming & flea treatements (within 3 mths).
> Your dog must be;

• Sociable, friendly to dogs & humans
• Well behaved/House trainied
• Neutered

 DOG DAY CARE 

If you feel uncomfortable leaving your dog home alone while you are at work or away all day, why not let them spend the day with us using our dog day care service. They will have dog and human company for socialisation, playtime and a walk – leaving them relaxed and ready to settle down with you in the evening content they have had a fun day. As above, Day Care is offered by appointment only at our family home with the Amarok Pack, following our home boarding requirements. You could drop off/or we could pick up your dog while you are at work, attending a function or simply going shopping and we will welcome them into our family to have socialisation throughout out the daytime (additional longer walks also available).

 Amarok Environment:
We are based in Alltwen and have access to numerous countryside tracks for walks literally on our door step. As well as having a large, secure & dog friendly garden for toilet breaks/playtime/socialisation, we are within walking distance of Alltwen park; varied woodland walks; Cwmtawe fields; and the endless canal,cycle and river pathways. Exclusive trips to the
beach could be scheduled (additional fee would apply).
